Senior Account Manager

The position of Senior Account Manager has the primary responsibility to manage their current clients and develop new business relationships with Fortune 1000 companies. As a Senior Account Manager, it is the expectation that the sales person will be able to leverage their current network as part of their business development activities at Ingenuiti.

Essential job functions
  • Research prospective clients through several strategies including internet research, trade shows, social media, referrals, various professional directories and personal investigation.
  • Manage relationships with current clients to maintain and exceed sales goals year over year.
  • Keep accurate and current records of prospective client data including names, titles, phone numbers, addresses and various other information in Buko and Pipedrive.
  • Cold call prospective clients.
  • Creatively problem solve to improve current new business development strategy.
  • Educate prospective and existing clients regarding the localization process, including rates, justification for turnaround time and competitor’s information.
  • Negotiate rates and deadlines with prospective and current clients.
  • In conjunction with your Manager help generate a higher return on our sales and marketing efforts to produce a larger volume of above threshold clients.
  • In conjunction with your Manager and sales team move opportunities along the sales process to help achieve closed sales above budget.
  • Take responsibility and accountability for designated clients.
  • Work with Project Managers to create account plans, RFPs, SOWs, quotes and ensuring that administrative details are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaboration with your Manager and production team to define internal and external expectations and align those to specific deliverables.
  • Consistently follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction with delivery, quality and customer service.

Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Experience
  • Two to four years of translation industry sales experience.
Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to produce leads on his or her own.
  • Ability of finding and closing new business including new and existing accounts.
Other
  • Interest in different languages and cultures
